The Director looks at the man that just walked in on his debrief. I’m trying to debfrief another Spartan team. Next time KNOCK. The Director sighs, a lot. I’m sorry Tempus and Target, but I can’t answer any more questions. Go meet Kurt at the spaceport, I need to speak with Alpha team. The Director shoos Beta squad out of his door and invites Alpha into his office. Hello Alpha squad, come on in.

Geralt jumps when Apollo walks in and whispers It’s not what you think, I swear! Geralt’s face is beet red, surprised by Apollo’s act of barging into the room.

Geralt comes out of a slumber. He finds himself lying next to Faye. Upon remembering the incidents from the night before…
Geralt was holding Faye as she snapped out of her unstable state. Geralt had held her, letting her know that she isn’t alone in this world, letting her know that he had her back. I’m here for you Faye. I know it hurts, I know you’re smart enough to see through any bullshit I tell you, so I won’t say any of that. Geralt had looked into her eyes and said Just remember you’re not alone in this world, I’m here. After that Geralt had stayed with her for the night, making sure she was alright.
Geralt rises and looks over to see Faye lying down, looking so peaceful with a few strands of her hair falling on her face. He lightly tries waking her. Hey, Faye, it’s time to wake up.

Raven shows up on the roof, finding Tony and Ren, Ren holding Tony. Ummm.. Raven looks at them and feels awkward. I’m so sorry to intrude on your moment.. Raven then turns around to leave.

Raven has been wandering the school looking for something of interest. Raven wanders the campus seeing other students, but not finding any interest in talking to any of them. I must’ve walked the entire building twice and then the grounds once. What shall I do? There didn’t seem to be a single person here that knows the slightest thing about time-travel. I want to go home. Raven takes off his crest as he is wandering through the halls. He finds himself wandering towards the roof and decides to go to the roof and bask in the sun. Perhaps I can find people I can start to spend time with in the coming days. I’m not sure. *sigh* Why is it so lonely in the future?

On the planet Harvest, one of the farthest colonies from Earth…
The civilians of Harvest go about their lives. They are farmers with a small planetary militia. Their space elevators provide a docking bay for ships to offload supplies for the planet as the people of Harvest send away food to other planets in need. Beyond the sensors of the planet and unnoticed by humans, an alien race lies in wait. The human race has never encountered aliens before (or so they think…), but their first contact with the Covenant will end in alien favor. Unbeknownst to the human race, the Covenant will come along and cause turmoil for many years. Many, many years… They sit and bide their time, observing the citizens of Harvest.

Kelly looks at her watch and notices the time. I’m sorry Grimmjow, but it looks like it’s time to turn in!
The next day, the one I’m now assuming everyone is on…
Kelly has gone through her classes without speaking much to anyone. Just doing her work, making sure she s the best student. I’ll be better than all of you. Weird, I haven’t seen Grimmjow all day. I saw Lance at gym, but I didn’t speak to him. School day is for school, afterwards is for social interactions. Kelly walks into her room, still finding the left side of the room empty. Still no roommate? Oh well. Kelly plops on her bed. After a moment she finds herself restless and gets up. I need to find someone to talk to. Kelly decides to go out and explore campus. I heard they have a pool here..

Whilst talking to Tempus, The Director gets a notification that Target is right outside his door. Hold on a moment, Tempus. The Director pushes a button under his desk and the door opens. Please, join us, Target. Your companion is already here.

In a reply to Ulysses, an ONI agent tells Ulyses: Negative, you aren’t being given a cruiser. Instead you are being given the UNSC freighter Petya. The ship has a Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine and is armed with both Archer and Shiva missiles. This freighter will serves as both transport and base of operations for you and your team. The look of the freighter leaves it inconspicuous so no civilian or Insurrectionist will be able to tell this vessel is from the UNSC, or specifically ONI.
-
An agent of ONI sends a message to Ulysses via encrypted pathways. The encrypted message states:
Ulysses and your team (We will leave them nameless in the case someone joins you Ody), you are assigned to go deep into space beyond the Outer Colonies to the Hesiod System, we have reason to believe the Insurrectionists have started mining the asteroids around the system. You are to perform reconnaissance by any means. You are TO NOT CAUSE ANY CASUALTIES, Insurrectionist or civilian. Blend in and gather intelligence. The systems beyond the Outer Colonies are harsh. You will be out of communications range, so you’ll be on your own.
((If you’ve ever read the Halo: The Cole Protocol, you’ll know all about the Hesiod system during the Human-Covenant War and how the Insurrectionists dug into the asteroids to make the refugee colony The Rubble, this is pre-war during the time the asteroids are just mined and the colonies of the system aren’t glassed. Any information from Halo: The Cole Protocol is completely irrelevant.))

The Director takes his time before answering Tempus’ question. We aren’t sure how to categorize this energy signature. All we know is it needs to be investigated. No one outside of ONI and I know about the Covenant. You’ll see their technology, but you won’t know what they are. I’ll deal with your backlash when it comes. Just follow Kurt’s instructions TO THE LETTER.

Kelly keeps petting Pantera, excited for there to be a cat. May I pick Pantera up? I’d like to. This cat seems really sweet, I can’t possible imagine why Lance doesn’t like cats. It’s almost as if they were terrible gods to him or something else far-fetched.

((@halfme-halfwho @oxxicody6616 This post is for y’all in Beta squad because y’all haven’t been active. This is one of the last (and only) posts I made concerning y’all.))
The Director looks Tempus straight in the eye. Yes, others. You are being assigned to join Kurt, Spartan 051 on a mission to investigate an area of uncharted space where there is a weird energy signature. You will be following his command and there will also be an ONI officer there as well. You and Target, here, will be the only 2 members of Bravo team assigned to this mission.
In reply to Tempus’ question, There is nothing else y’all need to know. Just follow his orders and don’t get yourselves killed. You’re valuable assets. We want you around for more missions. There Director sets his hands on his desk, ready for another question should it present itself.

The creature turns on a hairpin, instantaneously redirecting itself right into Dakota and taking him to the ground. The creature lifts one of its bladed arms and prepares to bring it down.
Johnson and his marines get ready to jump out of the way when the creature turns around to attack Dakota. They then proceed to fire on the creature, the creature ignoring them for the real prize.
