He later met Aoi-Megumi Tadokoro and realized she was his soulmate yet some time later before he could ask for her hand she was killed in the battle lands while they were escaping into an area of the new world together. Some time had passed and then he went on to meeting Erina and after spending some time with her he found out that she was the reincarnation of his beloved so not wasting so much time he asked for her hand right away and married her.
