Swarine nodded and turned to Liv,”I do have a question about this place… What exactly is this ‘thing’ everyone is talking about? “
-
Swarine pulled her hood down and lightly smiled,”Sorry about that…. Are you OK?” She asked, trying her hardest not to laugh, much to no avail,”I-I’m sorry, but you remind me much of my little sister. She was a clumsy little thing…” She shook her head and arched an eyebrow,”I could’ve sworn we met in the forest… Either way, my name is Swarine….”
-
Swarine sighed and adjusted the strap of her bag, not looking up until she managed to put on a smile,”Hello!” Her eyes slightly widened,”Hey wait a second… you’re that girl i ran into at the forest, aren’t you?”
-
Swarine arched an eyebrow and asked,”What exactly is this ‘thing’ you speak of?”
-
She remained quiet for a moment before sighing and shaking her head,”I’m from one of the old kingdoms before they were broken up… I suppose you could say that I was the princess turned into a theif.” She glanced at the shops,”Yeah, I’m new to this whole region, actually….”
-
“Can we go to the woodworker’s?” She asked while adjusting her cloak,”I’ve actually heard a lot about the woodwork around here…”
-
She followed close behind,”Actually, is there a shop around here? I wanna see if there’s anyone I can share trading tips with…”
-
Swarine lightly smiled and jumped down, shaking his hand,”That’d be nice, actually. My name’s Swarine, if you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to ask me.”
-
She watches from the trees and smirks before hanging upside down on one of the branches, stopping the group in their steps,”Excuse me, but could you tell me where I am? I kinda… Got myself lost… Again.” She awkwardly chuckles and cringes as she rubs her injured leg across the tree bark.
-
Swarine jumped down, anger burning in her dark green eyes,”I’m not a monkey! I’m human, just like you.” She crossed her arms and huffed,”Monkeys are real, y’know. They’re not in this region of the world.” She looked away and sighed,”Anyway… Now that my rant is over… I’ll be taking my leave..”
-
Swarine sighed and jumped into the tree. It was quiet… Maybe if she had actually introduced herself to them, she wouldn’t have to navigate a foreign forest by herself. On the other hand, she was afraid she was going to get shot at again.
-
Swarine arched an eyebrow. This was a land of Vikings, was it not? Then why was she just left off the hook? She sighed and jumped down into the snow, cringing as she landed on her leg. She sighed. That leg was just getting beaten up today, wasn’t it? She shrugged and pulled her cloak around her again, throwing her hood up and trudging through the snow. She heard there was a village near by, now, how to get to it? That was a whole new problem…

“Someone was shooting arrows at me… What’s you expect? I only retaliated,” She quietly replied before jumping down and removing her hood, allowing her dark red hair to spill across her shoulders,”And I got hurt in the process of escaping… Again… That’s never fun, you have to at least admit to that.” She examined her wound before looking back up at the trees,”Now if you’ll excuse me… I’ll be off.”

She stopped for a momen and turned her head before sitting on the branch and pulling a make-shift band-aid together using leaves and string she had brought with her. She remained quiet and listened to the one trying to talk to her.
