She gladly takes a chip. “I know what you mean..” She takes a bite.

She looks over at the bag to see what he was eating. “Sure, thank you.”

Vanessa opens her drink and takes a sip.

Vanessa grabs an Arizona Tea and pays. When she turns around she sees him stash things in his bag. She shakes her head and waits for him by the door.

“Alright,” she mutters, still following behind.

Her face turns red and then she runs after him, following him. “Are you sure we won’t get in trouble?”

“O-okay. Good.” She shifts on her feet.

“Oh. My. God. Let’s leave. Now,” she sighs and looks up at the sky. “What have I done?”

She covers her face with her hands that are hidden inside her sleeves and shakes her head. “Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.. This can’t be happening right now.. Please tell me this isn’t happening right now.”

Vanessa’s mouth drops open. “N-No! Why? What? You can’t do that! You’re going to be in so much trouble!”

She halfway raises her hand. “I- um, draw and write a lot..”

She mentally face palms and walks in the direction the boy takes her in. She looks over at the other boy that decided to join and knew she was not prepared for what was to come.

She stares at him for a moment. “Okay, fine. Just this once..”

“Oh,” she says handing him a few books, “thank you.” She smiles at him as they make their way back home.
