She looks up at the boy. “B-But I’m here. That’d be lying.” She looks down at her feet, embarrassed.

“I-I don’t know,” she bites her lip nervously, “it’s look bad if the new kid wasn’t here.” She twirls a string from her hoodie with her fingers.

She blinks for a second. “Y-You can’t just leave school. It’s against the rules.”

She stops and turns around after a moment. She looks at the tall boy and then turns her gaze to the lockers in front of him. She looks back at him. “I-I already don’t want t-to be here.” She knits her fingers nervously.

Vanessa nibbles of her bottom lip. She can’t stay here. She asks the teacher if she could leave for the restroom. Once she exits the room she pulls out her phone, ready to call her parents.

Vanessa covered her ears and gritted her teeth as she heard the metal slash. She finally got the nerve to look around the room to study the people she’d be spending the rest of her high school years with.

As Vlora walks outside the library doors she notices it’s night out. She can’t believe she was in there studying all day. She makes her way to the headquarters, which isn’t very far.

Vanessa walks into the room and is startled by screaming. She looks around and sits in a less populated area. When she hears that a teacher died she reconsiders her choice of transferring here. A death on the first day? She thought if that was a sign she didn’t know what else would be.

“True,” she sighs, “I’ll just take these back to the headquarters.”

“I have a feeling we’re going to be dealing with it soon.” She pulls out a few books and placing them on the table with her telekinesis ability. “This is dark. It scares me, honestly.”

Vlora turns around to see Blaze standing behind her. “I’m reading about necromancy. There has to be someone out there that can do this and, well,” she paused’ “we just need to be prepared for that person.”

Vlora walked into the library. She knew a good bit about powers and a lot more of her own. She felt as if it would benefit herself and hopefully someone else if she researched necromancy.
