She sighs at Jax’s comment and hops up on the counter. “Listen, I don’t have to understand. Shit happens. All we have to do is accept it and move on. We can’t change the past, but we can mold the future.”

Vlora was awkwardly playing with her fingers and the two spoke. When she heard the slap she looked up immediately. When Jax was gone she ran up to Cloud and grabbed his face with her hands. “Cloud, are you okay?!”
