He scowls for a moment. “I simply do not trust you. But it should be easy.” He pauses. “I am sorry, girl… but I cannot leave you to die, and I doubt she will either.” He pauses once more. “I am Xienex. Hold still, as still as you can whilst on the shoulder of a walking woman.” He approaches close, and goes to place two fingers on the girl’s forehead. If successful, a small light should coat her skin, and internal pain should be relieved, then the wounds that cause the ailment and anything of vile creation inside of her should be purged. If this is complete, Xienex will drop his hand from her head, and still follow, but in a slight stumble, seeing as how his eyes are now difficult to keep open.

This ‘demon’ scowls for a moment. “Then what do you plan to do with her, if not taking her under imprisonment?” He steps closer. “Where ever it is, she is clearly not going to make it there. She is in need of immediate healing. Fortunately, I happen to be an angel. Could you please lay her down, and back away? I apologize if I do not trust easily.” Venom swashes in his voice, clearly not happy with being insulted. “Go on, quickly, before others spot you.” He pauses. “And do not call me stupid, when you’re the one simply walking around with her on your back. As if no one would notice. Lay her down.”

“There shall be no fighting if this person allows you free, miss.” He pauses for a moment, realizing the girl’s condition. “You villain! What have you done to her? Give her to me so I may heal her, or your life is hearby forfeit!” His hair crackles with electricity, and a few small bolts strike from him and hit the ground.

It doesn’t take much for Xienex to notice Ariana carrying the small girl. This infuriates him, seeing this as an attempt to throw another poor soul to the arena. So naturally, he drifts closer and closer, until he reaches her, draws a thin blade, and clears his throat. “Excuse me. Put the girl down. I will not allow another one to be thrown to arena. Put her down, or your death will follow shortly.” He manages to stay cool, but his hair sparkles ever so slightly with electricity.

There’s quite a few things I’ve done. Some of which I am ashamed of.

    1. I sent many anonymous messages on tumblr to my friend (who is the straightest person I know), describing what I wanted him to do to my anus. He turned his anon button off, so I made a blog which did nothing but send him messages about how much I wanted to fuck him and stuff. He never found out it was me.

    2. I’ve had many people take a romantic interest in me in the past year, but I’ve lead them on, only revealing I have a girlfriend after much flirtatious talk.

    3. I have texted gay erotica to my brother’s friends from his phone.

    4. I keep stealing pencils from my friend, and leaving them in random places in the school.

    5. One of my roleplay characters has a horrid habit of picking up women, so if I am unsure if I will join a roleplay, I join as him, pick up a girl almost immediately, then I never appear in that RP again.

And much, much more. Reviewing things, I am a horrible person.

Xienex left the arena, with people all around him, yet utterly alone. He almost had the will to let his wings show, and use the power stored in him, the emotion he tried so hard to contain overflow and destroy the city, then create a city anew. But he knew that he would be stopped, even with his power, the humans had numbers. So he toiled on, wading gently through the crowd, standing out only slightly because of his almost white skin, hair, and clothing. Once he reaches the alleyway he called his home, he sits, and sighs. He has not the energy to scavenge, even though his stomach ached of hunger. He only desired rest…

At the warlocks coming, Xie nodded a quick farewell to Selena, then darted, swiftly and quietly, out of the abandoned cage, and back up to the stands. Perhaps it was good he left then, he had talked too much about matters that spurred feelings within him. He sighs as he sits back in his seat. He knew he’d get caught someday, if he kept going down, but he couldn’t stay away, that was the only place that meant anything to him anymore.

He closes his eyes, calming himself once more. He knew that an escape wouldn’t work, that his power could never break the binds on that collar. He hated this life, he hated everything. Why does this happen to good people? Why? Selena may not blame humans for their mob mentality, but Xienex did. He knew what being an individual was, and the choice you could make. But these people, these INSECTS…

A few bolts erupt from him, and strike the metal bars. He quickly curls up into a ball, trying to contain himself. “Sorry.. Sorry.” He whispers.

Xienex sighs. “They are too easily manipulated…” He shakes his head, electricity buzzing a bit in his hair. “I cannot speak about such things, you know what happens when…” He trails off. Xienex doesn’t talk much, but when he does, he reveals deep thoughts and analysis, but this always leads him to feel. And when he feels, he loses control. Control is something that was very important to him. “Selena, perhaps I should free you, so you may see the mob of powerless flesh that holds so much over those with the true power, for sheer reasons of numbers.” He pauses. “I shall free you, Selena, I swear by it.”

“…” He opens his eyes, and looks over towards Selena. “It matters little, Selena. Even if I was caught, would it really matter? Outside, there is nothing but pain, but a different sort of pain. Pain is pain, still, and pain will reach me either way, so I fail to care.” He looks down at the skull. “How I do miss him. He inspired me to go on in this horrid city, but now, what have I?”

He sighs lightly, and slumps back down. He stares at the skull, his eyes glinting with sadness once more. “Have you seen the humans lately? Borin told us not to resent them, but how could a good being throw itself to join a mob that cheers at creatures tearing each other apart?”

He could not resist visiting. The warlocks roam about the cages, but Xienex manages to lower himself down into the cages, and crawl below the eyesight of the warlocks. He reaches the cage with a small skull surrounded with white feathers. This cage, one stuck in a corner, was deemed unusable, for all you were kept there died in the cage, and not in the battlefield. Xienex slips inside, and goes to the skull, muttering his respects to it before placing his hand on the skull, looking at it for a moment, sadness brimming in his eyes for a small second before they turn back into their previous, emotionless state. He sits in the cage, eyes closed, knowing no warlock will look here, for this cage is dead. Things fly through his mind as he sits, letting the feeling of death surround him, letting himself remember.

Not a single trace of emotion graced the eyes of the pale young man, sat intertwined with the masses. He had seen enough of these matches to not care anymore, to not root for a side, to not get attached. At first, he came to the battles to seem to be normal, to hide within the mass of cruel powerless, mindless flesh that squirmed, long ago beneath him, but now, with his divinity taken, he tried as much as possible to hide, a parasite among the flesh. But now, the battles were a ritual to him, engraved in his brain as another meaningless task he needed to preform to simply stay living.

Xienex no longer felt like a living being. Perhaps that was best. He had not opened his mouth to speak in three years. He simply went to his lowpaying job of unloading cargo, went to battles, bought food, and stayed in his little spot in the sewers. He kept it, and himself, remarkably clean, however. Perhaps just another way to fit in.

His eyes drifted around the crowd, around the cheering, meaningless bugs. He felt anger rising within him, but he quickly quelled it. Not today, today was not the day. He let his eyes look back at the arena to watch the next battle.

    Name: Xienex Esten

    Race: Pureblood Angel

Appearance: Xeinex can mostly pass for an ordinary citizen, due to his very human looks. However, some notice his heterochromia, him having one blue eye and one green eye. This does not instigate more than a simple check, though. He has white hair, yellowed slightly by the influence of the unheavenly forces below. He wears a white and blue striped scarf, wrapped around his neck and mouth, most of the time, though he does remove it on special occasion. He prefers simple, white clothing, often going for white trousers, a white coat, and a black shirt. He wears simple glasses. He has wings with feathers the same color of his hair, but they can be hidden magically.

    Bio:

Xienex was born an angel, a rare occasion celebrated by the heavenly forces. When an angel is born of two angels in consecration, it forms a pureblood angel, one bestowed with powers that related to the blood of the parents. Electrical forces were given to Xienex, but his journey had ever been to control them. For two hundred years, he practiced, but to no avail. All that he accomplished was keeping the electricity under wraps while his emotions were mild.

This prompted him to adapt an apathetic view of life, which in turn led the heavenly forces to feel fear of him, for one who does not care is cold, and one who is cold may turn ruthless. He was expelled from heaven, forced to live among the humans of a random city. Of course, he ends up in the worst possible place for him, Cherubium. He learns to disguise himself, and live among the harsh humans, all the while trying to keep emotion in check.

She giggles. “That was wonderful! Same thing with me, haven’t had that much fun in a long time.” She pauses. “Really? You tarred and feathered a superior? We’re gonna get along, real well.” She grins, going to lean on Selena. “What should we do about those losers? Leave them there to be lost for a while? Steal their clothes and leave them lost? Or?”

The dryad explodes into laughter, rolling in the tree, clutching her stomach. “Oh, oh, that was good! That was good!” She almost falls out of the tree a few times, her eyes watering in the heavy laughter. “That was better than I get in three years! You’re sticking with me, Miss Guardian~.”

Once she calms down, she grins, and beckons for Selena to sit next to her.
