Akio glances at Okarin and closes his eyes. “Awful…” he pauses, taking in a deep breath and exhaling. “I rarely get anyone to visit me, like the nurses. They used to come every other hour, but now they only come around twice a day.” he opens his eyes, looking down. “I miss seeing people.” Akio takes his hand and strokes Okarin’s cheek. “At least you’re here.”

Koharu shakes his head slightly. “Right…” he turns to him, forcing a smile. “Do you have a place to stay?”
-
Fern nods. Almost instantly, her face drops and drains of color. “I need to call my parents…I bet they’re worried sick about me…including my brother. I was going to call them earlier, but I guess I forgot…”
-
Akio rolls over to look at Okarin, most of his hair falls to the floor. He smiles. “No, not at all, actually. You know,” he hangs his head off of the bed. “I was just pondering about you, I was waiting for an excruciating time for just someone, just someone, to come and visit me. Glad you came.”
-
Fern looks at the two, smiling. She begins to mindlessly draw on her napkin, just circles and hearts. “You’re welcome.” she says softly. “So, when will we know when the boss has his decision?”

Akio had been resting on his bed for hours on end, the light in his room had gone out earlier that day, none of the nurses wanted to spend too much time in his room, so no one was bothered to fix it. The only light that came into his room was from the small window that let just a bit of moonlight into his room, enough for the naked eye to see. Akin had heard the foot steps outside of his room. He stays perfectly still.

Koharu swallows the lump in his throat. “I’m so sorry…” he says quietly, putting the supplies away. “Is there anything I can do? Call the police, maybe?” he clears his throat, looking up at Fang.

Fern leans back in her chair, nodding. “Nice.” she crosses her wings. “You are a fantastic drawer by the way, your tag art is almost perfect.” she sits forwards again, grabbing a crayon and examining it.

Koharu takes off the wipe and throws it in a trashcan near by. He takes a small packet of Aquaphor and rubs it on Fang’s cut. He then gets a bandaid and lays it over Fang’s cut. “If you don’t mind me asking, what happened?”
-
Fern agrees with Snidely, she looks at Leo. “I think he means like you’re not all serious and threatening like the others. And you just seem very chill to be part of Morphine…right?” she turns to Snidely, tilting her head to the side.

Koharu smiles, “You’re welcome.” he takes out a couple of alcohol wipes and walks up to Fang. “I’m sorry if this stings, but it will kill any bacteria.” he begins to wipe the cut on Fang’s cheek.

Koharu comes back, holding some ice in a bag and a fist-aid kit in his hands. He sets them down on a self and looks at Fang. “Poor you…” he picks up the ice pack and gives it Fang while he looks through the first-aid kit.
-
Koharu had followed quickly behind them. He looks at Fang’s current state, and frowns. “I have a first-aid kit somewhere. I’ll go get it to get you cleaned up.” he says calmly, though there was a slight trace of panick in his tone. He runs to the back and enters the back room.

Fern takes a hold of her menu again, looking it over quickly. “Uh…” she closes it, setting it down on the table. “I’ll take the fish and chips, please.” the chicken smiles at the waitress.

“Good.” he smiles, he starts walking back to the store. There’s a little hop in his step
