Koharu looks away. He exhales loudly, taking his hand off of Nagisa’s shoulder. “I know. Hospitals are pretty uncomfortable to be in. I don’t think anyone likes them. Just so you know,” Koharu turns back to Nagisa, smiling only a little bit. “I’m not going to force you in the hospital, you don’t have to go inside if you don’t want to. It’s totally fine.” he pats Nagisa’s head, ruffling his hair. He stands up. “I’ll be inside, you stay here, okay?”

“Sweet!” Fern says under her breath, making a fist with her wing feathers. She gives Leo and Snidely and determined stare. “I’m actually really excited. I’ve never done this before!” she laughs, shaking her head and looking down. “I don’t have friends like this and I’m not allowed out of my neighborhood often…that’s why I’m so excited,” she looks up again. “I get to explore!”

Koharu moves closer to him, rubbing his shoulder. “No. Nagisa, I want to know what’s going on. I want to help you. Everyone is having a bad day and I want to turn that around…what’s wrong? Seriously. You’re 100% worth my time.” he stays frowning, he had a little bit of concern in his eyes.

Fern had an amused face on the whole time they argued. She walked beside Snidely, chuckling softly. “You guys… everything is a challenge or game, isn’t it?” she shakes her head, smiling. “Hey, just for fun, why don’t I play your guy’s little drinking challenge? Hmm?” her eyes shift from Snidely to Leo.

Koharu gets out of the hospital, looking up and down the road. He then looks down, seeing Nagisa sitting there. His eyes lower a bit and he frowns. “Hey buddy,” he says calmly, sitting down next to him and resting his hand on Nagisa’s shoulder. “What’s wrong?”

Fern becomes uneasy. “I don’t know guys, I’ve never gone drinking before. Or ever drank even at all. I’m too young, 16 is too young…” she pauses for a moment. “I mean…it wouldn’t hurt to try… And besides, I want you two to have fun. I’m the big party pooper here.” Fern points to herself, passing a high giggle.

Koharu turns around just in time to catch a glimpse of Nagisa leaving the hospital. Koharu lets out a big sigh. “Again, Fang, I am terribly sorry but I’ll be leaving you here with the front desk lady momentarily.” he gently sets Fang on the ground next to the desk. “Don’t move,” Koharu says, starting to turn and run off to Nagisa.

Fern smiles at Leo, letting out a small chuckle. She glances at Snidely. “I don’t know. Snidely, what do you want to do?” she asks him, cocking her head to the side.

Akio contains his laughs, slapping his knee. He giggles all the way until Okarin walks out. He quits laughing when he leaves. Akio turns to look at Mary. He sighs loudly. “Okay, take me back. I’m done.”

The lady turns to them, smiling. “What is wrong with him again?” she taps her fingers in the desk.
Koharu looks down at Fang. “I believe he has broken ribs.” he looks up again, smiling back at the lady.
She nods at him, turning back and telling the doctor on the phone. She sets the phone down. “Okay, he’ll be taken away and rushed to the Emergency Room, you’ll have to wait a few minutes. Is that alright?”
“Yes…I’ll just stand here.” Koharu answers softly.

Akio begins to pace the room again, folding his arms behind his back. He holds his head high, puffing out his chest a bit. “What will happen if I get…too physical?” he asks, grinning widely.

Koharu watches as Nagisa sits down. He then turns his attention toward Fang. “Front desk, emergency room, then you’ll all be better.” Koharu speed walks over to the front desk. “Hell, yes, um..My friends here…uhhh…broke his ribs possibly and he needs urgent care. Can we get him to the ER by any chance?”
The front desk lady looks up instantly from her computer, she nods rapidly and grabs the desks’ phone, nervously yelling into for a few moments, telling a doctor to get over to the front desk.

Fern lights up a bit, putting our her wing and gripping Leo’s. She shakes it. “Thank you so much. Again, I’m really sorry…” she faintly smiles. “I know how you feel, Leo. I know, it gets annoying very fast. I let my pettiness get the best of me, and I angered you.” she drops her wing, looking down a bit. “But I am very glad you accepted my apology.” Fern nods.

Koharu looks back at Nagisa, he nods just a little bit. “It’s all gonna be okay, no need to be shook.” Koharu turns his head back to look at Fang, giving him a soft stare.

Fern walks up to him, getting in front of stopping. “Leo, I just wanted to say sorry I did all that back there.” she says, worry in her voice. “I just took all my anger out on you and I’m sorry. Really, I am.”
