    Name: Jaclynn “Jackie” Coulson

    Age: 9-10 years

Powers: Though she is blind, she is able to “see” the souls of other beings. She sometimes can detect buildings and other non-living things if they have had enough life in them (centuries old houses, for example.) Jackie can also see the dead and communicate with them. ((If it isn’t against the rules, or anything, she is literally a ghost. I don’t know if there’d be a problem with that, but if so, she could still be alive, she just wouldn’t have powers like flying and going intangible. I made her up for a Danny Phantom AU….))

Bio: Jackie Coulson was a week away from having her ninth birthday when she was taken from her home by government agents. Though nothing was ever really explained to her, she guessed that they had abducted her to learn about the weird things she sometimes saw. They would ask her a lot of questions and run more tests than she could count, ignoring her pleas to return home. Once, she was put under anesthesia for some kind of operation, but when she woke up again, her eyes weren’t working right. She was surrounded in darkness, and cried, but no one seemed to care enough to console her. ((Should her being a ghost not be a problem, she was put through one more operation, one to restore her vision, but the procedure inadvertently kills her. She awakens as a ghost and is free to roam wherever she pleases. If it’s not okay…)) She is rescued from her captors by a friendly specter, one who had seen the atrocities being committed and decided to cause enough of a ruckus that she was able to get free. He called himself “Typhoon” when she asked and helped her to find her way back to her home.

The library called to Jace as they realized that they hadn’t actually done much for studying since they had started school here. They and Panic headed there, Jace smiling cordially to the students they passed.

Once they had reached the library, Jace found their way to the law section to read old court cases and the like. Well, Panic read them to Jace while they took notes on their Braillewriter, but their studying commenced regardless.

J.C. groggily opens her eyes to watch the two men. She hadn’t even realized that she had fallen asleep.

Zed and whomever the other man was appeared to be examining a body, but J.C. stayed in the sidecar. There was really no reason she should check on it, too.

She nodded. “We pretty much walked wherever we went. Sometimes we’d find mules or whatever to help carry stuff.” She scratched behind Black’s ears.

Jace returned to the exercise Haru had instructed them to do, balancing on one foot and then the other, before having Panic hold their feet steady as they tried a hand stand. They repeated this for a while.

She nodded and turned to Rage. “You think you can?” she asked him. He only laughed making J.C. roll her eyes. “Alright then.” She climbs into the sidecar.

Jace could feel the energy from the fight and it left them breathless. They could only hope that they’d be able to fight with that kind of strength someday. The sprite lounged on his master’s shoulder as he eyed the match.

“We wouldn’t be headed anywhere in particular, just the ocean,” J.C. explained. “So heading in that direction should get us there.” She pointed to the rising Sun.

“Nah, but  want to,” he answered. “I asked J.C. if we could go after New York. She just said ‘we’ll see.'”

J.C. shrugged. “We’ll just have to go a bit more east, so we’ll probably see it sometime.”

    Rage whooped in excitement.

The four of them headed out into the street, sidestepping ancient debris and looking around. There were other people wandering around as well, but they all steered clear of each other.

Rage decided to break the silence. “Have you ever seen the ocean?” he asked.

She looked to Rage, who shrugged with a grin, and sighed. “Yeah, that’ll be fine. But you better not try anything.” She stuffed the last of her meager meal in her mouth before leaning back. “Are you ready now, or did you need to do anything?”

Jason read the rules before nodding his agreement with them. (I agree.)

    Age: 14

Affiliation: Air, though he has some talent for fire.

    Height: 5’10”

    Weight: 153lb

He discovered his abilities when he was young and practiced under his father’s tutelage until acceptance to the High School in the Sky.

Other: He is rarely seen without a pineapple shaped water bottle full of grape juice.

She shrugged. “We were gonna explore the city for a while, see if it’s worth staying here. If not, we’ll just move on. You?” She looked at him curiously.

Jace started when Haru fell over. “Are you alright?” She called to him, abandoning the exercise. Panic merely looked at the eccentric instructor, decoding he would do nothing unless he was told to.
