Theon cocked his head slightly, “You could always just… not if you don’t want to.” He asked, raising an eyebrow, “If you want, you don’t have to go back, unless you’re one of those ‘noble hero’ type people who are above running away, but that’s your own problem.” He shrugged and crossed his arms behind his head, “None of my buisness anyway.”

Theon raised an eyebrow, giving Asona a weird look, “I left and I don’t plan on going back, so it’s someone else’s problem now.” He shrugged a little and gave an irreverent, almost cocky grin, “In all honesty, as long as I get what I want, I don’t care if the world burns.” He said with a bit of a chuckle, “Anyway, my bastard of a brother will be happy to fill the spot I left. He’s a power-thirsty leech, I’m sure he was waiting for any chance he could to take my spot, lucky for him, that’s what I wanted anyway.” He said, letting out a pleased sigh, “From here on, my only responsibility is to keep myself alive long enough to make it to the north sea, from there.. well, I’ll figure something out.”

Theon cocked his head slightly, “You seem to have some problems.” He said, then shrugged, turning around to swim again, “Not that it’s my buisness or anything.” He said, then spun around to swim on his back, crossing his arms behind his head, “I’ve always rejected responsibility anyway, so I’ve just decided to take it a step further and just live on the open sea for the rest of my days. I never listened to what people told me anyway, so at least this way I don’t have to pretend to!”

Theon nodded, “My mother was the same, she always said that I should spend more time studying and learning the laws of the land if I was to become the heir, though I never listened.” He shrugged a little, “My dad always went soft on me, apparently I’m the spitting image of him when he was young, though I cant really see that. I’m sure he thought that because he turned out well, I would too.” he chuckled pridefully, “I bet they’re only finding out that I’ve left now, I’d kill to see the look in their faces, especially my one uppity bastard of a brother.” He frowned slightly, “Ahh, what was his name again…? I forgot. Well, it doesn’t matter anymore.” He said with a shrug.

Theon chuckled a little, “My brothers were never that big into hunting, all of them are irritatingly straight-laced, I’m kind of the bad apple of the barrel, or at least that’s what they say.” He said, turning around to face Asona, holding his harpoon behind his back casually, “I’d usually just be able to hunt alone, but once in a while I was able to go with a certain childhood friend or take a girl out with me,” He chuckled a little, “That was a surprisingly good way to get some action.”

Dante nodded to him respectfully, “Thank you, sir.” He said, then somewhat hurriedly boarded the ship, dropping the basket off at the galley before deciding to wander the ship for a while, still a little unaccustomed to the layout of the boat.

Theon chuckled a little, “I see, I have some fond memories of the darkness too, though I’m sure mine are quite different from yours.” He spoke, suppressing a small smirk, covering his mouth with a hand. “Anyway, we’ll probably be able to find some mackerel, maybe a tuna if we’re lucky. They’re good game, big, slow and dumb. I like to try and get them through the head, it’s a bit of a fun challenge.”
Dante took the basket off his neck and returned Vasantis’ nod with a sternly respectful one of his own, “Permission to board ship, sir?” He asked with the same air of tense courtesy.

Dante ran to catch up with gully, pausing as he saw the captain talking with her. He stiffened slightly, standing in a respectful way, not particularly timid nor confident. He stood a little behind Gully, hoping not to be called upon by the captain, not out of cowardice, more of a feeling that to be called upon would be an annoyance.
Theon nodded to Asona’s words, “Most of the big game is further from the harbors, the ships and whatnot scare them away.” He said, “Usually I hunt further south than this, but it’s a long way in the opposite direction, so let’s just keep going forward and see where this takes us,” He beamed at Asona and took the lead, beginning to swim forward. “By the way, were you some kind of trench hermit in the past or something? The way you keep on mentioning living in deep dark places, it’s a little depressing, y’know?” He said with a joking tone. -
Tyr hopped up a few more branches to exit Sevrin’s line of sight as he scaled a tree. He continued to observe the two of their interactions with a mixture of curiosity and amusement, silently chuckling to himself as Aurelian fell.

Dante nodded and took the basket and began walking back toward the ship, popping a couple of the berries in his mouth as they walked.
Theon cocked his head slightly, “Country people are weird, huh?” He said with a shrug, “Doubt anyone in the city is that honest.” He swam forward to catch up with Asona, “Hey- d’you know what you’re doing? I mean, I don’t doubt you’ve killed something before, but the wildlife here is probably different from the pacific.” -
Theon nodded with a grin and tied the satchel around his waist, “Nice choice!” He said, peering down at her knife, “Wanna go for a little hunt?” He asked, twirling his harpoon, “Then we can start heading north.” He said, beginning to swim out of the canal, “I was kind of the odd one from my siblings too, but no one really said it to my face, it was kind of annoying.” He sighed a little and ran a hand through his hair, “Back home, I have this reputation of never really telling the truth about anything, it was funny to screw around with my brothers.” He chuckled softly to himself.

Tyr cocked his head a little, examining Aurelian closer at the same time he was examined. At the sound of the rustling, his attention also drawn to the sound. He jumped up and flew to a higher branch, taking a perch there where he would be safe in case of attack.

“It’s dangerous to hunt without a priest,” He began, then narrowed his eyes, “so I assume you’re trying to steal spoils from adventurers, but I’ll have you know, I think all of us are too poor to have anything worth stealing!” His voice was between defensive and pissed; he didn’t really mean to let slip that information.

Makoto steps forward, wearing an intense expression that contrasted well with his pretty face. He gripped his staff tightly in a defensive gesture in front of his chest, “You’re a thief, correct?” He asked after looking over the new party’s clothes, “What are you doing here?”

Tyr follows Severin’s gaze to Aurelian and instantly takes more interest in him. He hops along the branch of the tree towards the human, still tracking the other out of the corner of his eye in case of danger, but gradually forgetting as he got a better view. He got the impression that he’d get along with this person. He jumped up and flapped a short distance through the trees and perched on a branch strategically chosen to be partially hidden but exposed just enough to be seen, making just enough noise to attract his attention, yet not enough to make it obvious that he tried to attract attention.
