Caligula put his notebook in his pocket and chuckled, “‘Coffee’ eh? Could be worse,” He said, sounding amused, “I’ll take that human quip as a complement, I quite like them.” he placed his hands in his blazer pocket, “I used to be one centuries ago after all.”

Caligula glanced over the map and let out a small sigh of relief, then flipped through his notebook for a moment and landing on the page with Celest’s map and ripped out the sheet. “I don’t mean offense, but it makes me paranoid when other people use this.” He said and handed the sheet back to Celest, “Even if it’s basic knowledge, I have my own reasons for taking notes, please understand.”

As Celest ranted, Caligula recorded her words in his book with great intrigue, softly murmuring to himself words of interest as he wrote, tail swishing quickly behind him as he did. Throughout the introduction he stayed silent, finishing up his writing. “Caligula. Caligula Decimus, demon, no special skills or position.” He looked up from his book toward Celest, “We’ll be together here for a while, it’ll be hard for you to suppress your feelings for a while.” He murmured, then turned back toward Aureolin, “Anyway, nice to meet you. Let’s be reasonable, alright.” he said, extending a hand towards her with a smile.

“Am I really that bad?” Caligula chuckled, putting his hands in his pockets, “Then again, it would be more interesting for me if we had a few more angels.” He said, walking beside Celest, “Although so far, can’t say I’ve been disappointed. It’s rather… enlightening, Ill say… that you aren’t the cliche archetypal sort of angel.”

Caligula jerked his head up from his notebook at the sound of the splash, “Sounds like confirmation.” He murmured to himself then snapped his notebook shut, pocketing it once again, “Something’s landed, it’ll be best to check it out.” He said to the others and began to walk in the direction of the river.
-
Caligula slipped his notebook out of Celest’s hand and flipped to the page with the map, “If its a river you want, it should be in that direction,” He said, pointing southward. he flipped a few pages back in his notebook and began to scrawl across the sheet with a furrowed brow.

Zhangxi relaxes and straightens his back, “Don’t freak us out like that, it’s no good.” he said, walking faster for a moment to catch up with Diplo, keeping step with him.

As Celeste spoke, a smile gradually built on Caligula’s face, as she finished talking, he began laughing, a deep, genuine sort of laugh from the pit of his stomach. It took him a moment to calm himself down enough to speak, “Ah, sorry… sorry,” he said through the final lasting chuckles, “No one’s been so frank with me for a long, long time,” he wiped a tear from the corner of his eye, “I can’t remember the last time anyone’s called me a loser like that.” He closed his eyes and shook his head slightly, putting his hands in his pockets and regaining his usual composure, “Although, you’re not wrong, of course. Objectively, perhaps I would just be a sad old man, wouldn’t I?” He said with a nonchalant smile.

Theon smiled smugly and let out a soft chuckle at Vanaistis’s glare. As Gully landed next to him, he grimaced slightly and glared in Gully’s direction. He ran a hand through his hair, smoothing the strands that the her wing flaps sent out of order, “…Do you mind…?” He murmured under his breath.

Zhangxi tenses and clenches his fists, readying himself in case of danger, “What’s happened?” he whispered between gritted teeth and a tensed jaw, “Is this something dangerous?” He asked.

Caligula hesitated momentarily before placing the notebook in her hand, “I can never get work done during the day,” he said, putting his hands in his blazer pockets, “I know its irresponsible and a habit I should probably kick, but it makes the day go by faster if I spend it drinking and sleeping.” He said, beginning to walk again, “Operating like that, I can concentrate more on what I need to do, although now that things have changed, I suppose its a good time to try switching habits…”
-
Caligula chuckled, “Drinking late is a waste of the night, it’s better to waste time during the day.” he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his notebook, “I’m no artist, but I’m sure I can make something halfway readable” he said and began walking, holding his arms his hands behind his back, tail gently swishing back and forth as he walked.

Theon frowned exaggeratedly, crossing his arms on the side of the ship and pulling himself up to lean over the side of the ship, somewhat close to Vanaistis, “He~ey, that’s mean!” he teased and grinned up at him, “What if I don’t wanna die, eh? Did you think about that?” he tilted his head, twirling a lock of hair between his fingers, “If you insist on doing something so annoying, at least bring me back a coconut, kay?” He asked, flipping his tail and sending a couple droplets of water over the side of the ship.

Zhangxi put his hands in his pockets and stayed somewhat awkwardly silent, for a moment, “Uh… so about the collision thing, what do you think’s gonna happen?” He scratched the back of his neck and glanced at Diplo, “Is there a system or something that deals with disasters?” he asked.

Theon sighed deeply and leaned his cheek against his hand, “…How boring…” He murmured to himself with a slight scowl, disappointed with Tomas’ lack of reaction. He glanced back and watched the pirates approach and dove underwater, swimming to the boat. He resurfaced on starboard side of the ship, clinging onto the side of the boat, “The island seems uninhabited, save for one man who seems to have lost a little more than a few marbles.” He shrugged and sighed once more, “So far he doesn’t seem like much fun to play with and I doubt there’s anything else of interest on this island. I recommend we go somewhere more fun, capt’n.” He said with a mock salute.
