Theon pulls himself up on a rock on the shoreline, propping his head up with a hand on his cheek and leaning the other one under his chest. He observes Tomas for another moment, softly chuckling to himself. Before Thomas ran too far, Theon called out to him, “Monsieur, sorry to bother you, but that one there,” he pointed to the bow, “I don’t like the look in his eye, are you sure you want to trust him?” He asked with an innocent, sugary-sweet voice

Theon watched the going-ons of the men on deck for another moment, then began to grow bored. He released the hull of the ship and began to swim off to the left that he heard someone yell about, still keeping the ship in his peripherals. He resurfaced several feet off the shore of the island, listening to the mad ramblings of whoever had the misfortune of being stranded there. He chuckled to himself, listening in on the man’s conversation with his tools, then ducked under the water once again, swimming closer to the island, thinking of what he could do to mess with this guy.

Nagisa nodded and gave a small smile, “I live in the dorms next to the university, so there should be trains running late.” he said, beginning to walk, seeming to become more energetic as he walked, “I really like taking the train, I’m not allowed to ride it alone so I don’t usually get to go.” he said happily.

“Au revoir, monsieur captain.” he said with a wave, then leaned his hand thoughtfully against his cheek.

Zhangxi laughed softly, “It was mostly a joke.” He put his hands in his pockets, “But if that wasn’t it, what was?”

Theon returns Vanaistis’s smirk, “Hate me as much as you want, I don’t mind.” he said, flipping a little water onto the deck with his tail, “Might even make this a little more fun, wouldn’t you say?”

Zhangxi pokes Diplo in the arm, “Don’t look so happy when thinking about my death, it’s a little unsettling.” he said lightheartedly.

“In that case I’ll stay.” He said somewhat boredly, “Even if you aren’t going in the right direction, Ill hitch onto another boat. Most captains like my kind a lot for some reason, its kinda creepy actually.” He grinned, “It’s a little refreshing to find someone who hates me on principle.”

Zhangxi shrugged, “I kinda like action, I think living in a constant state of peace is worse.” He said, putting his hands in his pockets, “I feel like I’d have more fun here than the Elysian fields anyway.”

“I might want to tag along.” Theon stated, “I feel like leaving and there’s somewhere I’d like to go, it’d be annoying if you go the exact opposite direction or somewhere really boring so in that case, I’d probably leave, otherwise it will be faster and less tiring for me to just tag along.”

Zhangxi stands and follows behind Diplo, “I know, I guess the point I was trying to make is that I have to adjust a little.” He said, then jogged a few steps to walk beside Diplo, “Shouldn’t be too hard, in all honesty it’s kinda boring without any danger.”

Theon let his head fall to the side against his shoulder, “‘Suppose so… Anyway what direction is this ship going? Are you gonna be docking sometime soon?” He asked, shifting the conversation in a slightly different generation.

Zhangxi turns a little to face Diplo, crossing his legs in a somewhat respectful posture, “I see. It seems like a really different place here than where I was before.”

Theon shrugs, “I’m not trying to be clever, anywhere else it would be inconvenient to talk. I’d have to yell up at you and I don’t want to wreck my throat like that. I’m sure you can at least sympathize with that.”

Theon shrugs, “They sound like idiots anyway, it’s probably natural selection. Not sure what kind of idiot would attack an entire pirate ship.” He grabbed onto the hull of the ship, getting tired of swimming alongside, “And sirens are more often than not naturally idiots, it’s not much of a badge to have taken one of those down.”
