Ryuuji looks glances around, not seeing anyone in the area, “They must’ve run. Some players use their sigils to ambush people while they’re off guard.” he glances down at Mio, “I want to scout the area, can you watch over him in the meantime?”

Ryuuji notices Maxwell on the ground and quickly sprints close to him, “Shit… he’s hurt bad, isn’t he?” he sighs slightly and lowers his gun, “What’re we supposed to do? I don’t have any bandages on me and my Sigil is useless for healing.” he glances towards Mio, “Should we take him? He’d probably just weigh us down.”

“A-ah… I couldn’t do that…” he held his arms across his chest and looked down with a slight timid smile, “She said I need to know how all the instruments work and the only way is to play them.” He glanced back up at Koharu, “She said if I don’t work hard then I’ll never become great.” He held his arms behind his back and smiled, “Although I don’t know about any of that.”

Ryuuji glances in that direction, “Ah… yeah, looks like it.” He glances at Mio, “You wanna see what happened? Although if we’re not cautious, we could be caught as well.”

“Then lets go.” Ryuuji says, quickly opening the door and pushing down the door harshly with his shoulder, quickly scanning the first floor. At first glance, it seemed empty.

Nagisa shrugs, “Cello isn’t hard, it’s kinda like an oversized bass, just less cool and no fun.” His face takes on a slight scowl, “And me on a flute is like a…. it’s like… really bad.” He lets out a small sigh, unable to come up with a comparison.

Ryuuji shrugs, “Might be. There’s no way to tell.” He armed his gun and put a hand against the door, “Always better to assume that someone is waiting to kill us.” He glances back at Mio, “You ready?”

Ryuuji begins to walk again, his clone following a couple steps behind. Soon, they approach the hotel where the next three rings were located.

Ryuuji tilts his head, mirroring the action of his clone, “Then do I control him or something?”

Ryuuji puts his hand against the back of his helmet and hesitates a moment before responding, “Well… that’s surreal… Is he an exact copy? Can he think… does he have the same memories as me?” He pokes his clone with the barrel of his gun. Sui smiles slightly after being patted.

Ryuuji hesitates for a second, somewhat wary of what Jax would do, then nods and turns so his gun faces forward and away from Jax. “What are you going to do?” He asks skeptically.

Ryuuji nods and stops beside Jax, shifting his gun behind his back and stretching out his arms, “Alright, what’s your plan?”

Ryuuji falls into step beside Jax and the wolf. “I’m not sure, but it might be an ambush. Once we get in there, its possible someone will try to kill us.” He said sternly, “If you want to lead this one, you can trust me to watch your six.”

Ryuuji chuckles slightly, “Then lets get going.” He says, replacing the empty clip in his machine gun with a fresh one and beginning to walk in the direction of the next rings. Sui jogged a few seconds forward and stood next to Mio, glancing between her and Ryuuji.

Ryuuji sighs slightly and puts his gun over his shoulder, “Anyway, we should get going if we want to get to those other three rings before someone else takes them.” He said, looking to each of the others in turn, “You guys ready?”
