Snidely picked himself up, wiping the blood that trickled from his beak with the back of his wing then sent a quick glare to the leader of Morphine, who sighed and began to walk back to his desk, “We’ll take a break. Return within the hour.” He ordered. Snidely nodded sternly and turned towards Fern, making a quick, sympathetic eye-contact then waled out the door.

“…It’s next to the university, not sure where that is though…” Nagisa picks his head up from Koharu’s shoulder and glances at him, “Is it far?”

Nagisa picks his head up and glances at Koharu, “Hi…” He murmurs, then looks back down. He slowly leans his head on Koharu’s shoulder, “…I’m tired… I want to go back to my dorm…”

Snidely rolls his eyes and shrugs slightly, he seemed oddly nonchalant for the situation he was in. He makes an audible sigh, causing the leader of Morphine to tilt the knife into his neck, almost enough to draw blood. Snidely did the same, angling the tip of his blade close to the others heart. “…A worthless chick like her shouldn’t interrupt our negotiations.” He gives one of his cool, confident, borderline cocky smiles. The other chicken turns his attention back Snidely, “Fine.” He begins, pulling the knife ever so slightly away. Snidely doesn’t return the gesture. “You’ve heard what I want. Lay your terms.” Snidely smirks slightly again, “All I want is an alliance with you, and manpower in case a war breaks out with Feather and Hawke.” His expression darkens slightly, “…But, in light of that your terms are… unfair…” The leader of Morphine scowled and sent a swift punch square into his face.

Hao-hao~ more insane ramblings to no one, *necroposts vigorously* AAAANYWAY I just finished the Log Horizon manga and omG it was gooood af, I’m gonna watch the anime once I get home, but I don’t think that seta is the main character (T-T I think it’s that one kinght dude with glasses. That succs tho, I love seta sooo much ;-; BUT I HAVE HOPE THAT HE WILL AT LEAST CAMEO I think it might be almost more of a prequel, like back when the tea party was still a guild but that doesn’t make sense bc of the apocalypse buuuut idk \_(0-o)_/ either way I’m super pumped

Name: Rein
Age: 13Sigil: Laplace Function, the ability to sense the location and momentum of every atom in a given area, thus a fairly high-ranking superhero type sygil but not quite royalty. It also gives her the ability to dive into her mind to solve puzzles or deduce.
Abilities: Her Sigil makes her quite adept at dodging bullets and running away, she’s also a skilled sniper, however cannot handle herself in hand-to-hand or really any combat without a gun. Her strategy generally relies on fleeing in creative ways.
Personality: Somewhat cold and calculating, but not mean. Generally easy to get along with, especially because being friendly is the best option for someone like her without fighting power. Once gotten to know her, she’s a nice person and a loyal friend. Also extremely clever, especially for her age.
Appearence: Somewhat short at just under 5 feet tall, she has straight jet-black hair just longer than her chin, large sharp black eyes with a slight slant to them that reflect like polished obsidian and a small mole right under her left one. Usually wears a long white coat with matching shin-high boots and scarf.
Bio: Rein, due to her Sigil, is a useful resource for other players, known as the info broker or analyst, she can extrapolate information about people’s power or abilities. Player rank C3, Clan unaffiliated.
Name: Maesaka Ryuji (goes by Ryuji)
Age: 17
Sigil: Bullshit Detector. Can tell lies from truth. Animal tier.
Abilities: Despite a useless Sigil, he’s a fairly powerful player because of his machine gun which he carries around constantly and bullet-proof armor.
Personality: A somewhat rough guy, known to use strong language. He has a bit of a temper at times, but nothing he can’t control. He has a sense of humor and can easily become friends, however he’s not the type to take betrayal lightly and will not hesitate to kill a traitor, as well as being extremely quick to avenge a fallen friend.
Appearance: Tall and strong, just over 6 Feet. He usually wears full-body black bulletproof armor, complete with dark goggles and a helmet. He covers the exposed portion of his face with a skull-like bandana and always carries around a heavy machine gun, his look is not complete without it. He has tired-looking eyes and dull blonde hair that almost reaches his shoulders and is usually mussed and a little dirty.
Bio: Level C1 player, Clan unaffiliated.

Snidely shook his head slightly, as if to warn Fern. The leader of Morphine quickly turns the gun from Snidely’s head, replacing it with a knife at his throat, and pointed it at Fern, “Babe, I’ve already warned you, don’t interrupt negotiations.” He punctiated his sentence by cocking the gun. Snidely sighed slightly and gave her a glare that seemed to read ‘don’t fuck this up further.’

Amato cocks his head to the side, making eye-contact with a slow blink, “You’re pleased with that outcome, correct?”

Inside, Snidely was pinned against the wall by the leader of Morphine, some of his black feathers slicked back and glistening with blood. The larger chicken held a gun up to Snidely’s head, and snidely held his switchblade to the others chest. The two were locked in a tense eye-contact, but Snidely noticed Fern from his periphery. Without looking away, he moved his beak upwards in a slight smile, perhaps trying to reassure her.

“Thank you.” Amato says, then his eyes darken to a deep blue and seemed to become unresponsive for about a minute. He blinks, returning back to reality, “Master has expressed interest in you.”

Amato nods, “I would agree, that is the most prudent sentiment for this situation.” He turns to Leo again, “However, if I may, I would like to send word to Master that you are considering it. Will you provide consent to that?”

Amato watches the dragon move around and nods, “Quite good craftsmanship.” He comments, “You have an interesting style. If you wish to, you could fairly easily apprentice at my affiliated corporation.”

Amato attempts to return Leo’s smile and looks down, watching Leo’s repair.

Amato nods, “I believe I have a spare leftover from beta testing.” He turns his wrist so his forearm faced upward. A small hatch opened up and his eyes momentarily went black, then a small chip popped out. He picked it up and handed it to Leo, “It should be compatible.”

Amato takes a little closer look at the dragon, “Will it take an c-16 IBM chip or does it require an older model?” He asks, lifting up a wing with an extremely gentile hand, “Its a -S size, correct?”
