Leo glances at her, all the anger seemed to have faded out of his gaze, making him look more sad than anything, “it’s fine, I just…” He sighs, putting his wings in his hoodie pockets, ” people have been telling me how to act and think since I was a kid and I’m just sick of it…” He holds out his wing to Fern and gives a small smile, “So, I’ll forgive you.”

Amato glances back at Leo and briefly explains the situation to Guan Yu, then picks up the book “the Lighting Thief” for Annabeth and tucks it under his arm. He turns toward Leo and began to explain, “He is Guan Yu, a general of the Han dynasty made famous from the historical novel ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms'” He glances back towards Guan Yu, nodding to him again, “It’s quite the honor to meet him.”

Amato nods to Annabeth, “Please follow.” he shows her through the store then he runs into Guan Yu as well. Instantly, he recognises him and bows deeply and respectfully. He begins to formally greet him in an archaic dialect of Chinese that seemed to roll off his tongue more fluidly than English.

“You both appear in this series of books, as well as Annabeth appearing in the Percy Jackson series by the same author.” Amato explains, “The books were popular ranging from their publication to the earliy 2020’s, then gradually lost the mainstream audience ‘s attention.”

Amato nods, following them into the store, “I shall retrieve the requested literary work.” He quickly walked into the heart of the shop, an area lined with shelves and packed with books, then shortly returned holding a crisp hardcover copy of the first book and presents it to the two of them.

“Ah, that’s not the problem,” Okarin says, looking away from Mary and giving a somewhat forced smile, “As professionals, we generally aren’t supposed to discuss patients backgrounds with anyone save for relevant doctors.” He leans further back in his chair, beginning to twirl his pen in his fingers.
