As she walks up, Snidely finishes reading what was written on the sheet of paper and quickly pockets it then shrugs, “Just some chick, she’s close to the leader of Five but she works for me.”

“Um… I think it’s called new world or something like that… Im… Not sure…” Nagisa puts his hands in his pockets, “Thanks…”

“Um, there’s a poster, the one with a panda.” He points to an advertisement for an album with a picture of a one-eyed cartoon panda on it, “is, um, is that album in stock?”

They make it to the area under the chicklyn bridge, waiting there was a pheasant wearing a denim jacket and furry boots. Snidely moves in to sit next to her, dashing his cigarette into the river
. “What’s up, Erika? What’s happened exactly?” The pheasant’s voice was low and smooth, the type you’d expect to hear from a seductress, it was twinged with an Eastern European accent and matched her appearance perfectly, she said “SilverHawke has joined the war, they’re siding with FiveFeather, your only chance is to join with Abyss, that’s all I have.” She puts a small folded up piece of paper in his wing and walks away. -
“There’s something I need to check out, I’ll be quick.” Nagisa says, then walks into the store.

“FiveFeather is beginning a war with my people, RootPhoenix, I’m meeting with a guy who will tell me what our exact situation is, then Ill choose what we do, get it?” Snidely pulls a cigarette from his jacket pocket and gives it a light.

Snidely pulls out his phone, sending out a quick text, then sharply turns right, “I’ve been told not to go home yet, we’ll be meeting with my informant at pier 9.” he says consicely in a somewhat low voice.

They leave the house and head into town. As they wandered around, something in the window of a store that sold everything from vinal and cds to spare guitar strings to bow rosin and even some instruments caught Nagisa’s eye.

“That’s how it is…” Snidely hunches forward and interlocks his wings, “They started this war and I’m not gonna be the one to back down.” The train comes to a stop and he stands up, leaving the train. They were in the middle of he city and the station was packed.

Snidely turns his eyes to Fern, giving her a faint smile, “You don’t have to lie to me, I’m not that weak.”

Snidely glances at her then hunches forward, “…I don’t know.” He said, looking down, a heavy frown etched across his face, “Someone from FiveFeather… but whoever did it…. I swear, I’ll fucking kill them….” He hisses under his breath.

“I was with the leader, Talon. Our informant came in and warned us about a raid FiveFeather planned on us. We were returning base, Feather did a drive-by. Talon ordered me to leave, I think he had a soft spot for me…” Snidely’s face took on a painful grimace, “Now he’s been killed….” He sits up, trying to shake off his melancholy, “Anyway, I was trying to leave the city but caught the attention of the police.”

The train pulls up and the doors open with a soft ding. Snidely walks in and sits on a bench of the subway, leaning back and crossing his wings behind his head, “So what were you doing in the city when we met anyway?”

“Then come on.” Snidely walked downstairs into the underground of the station. “We’re taking the L train then changing to T train the stop before Chicklyn Bridge station, alright?” He says, leaning against one of the support pillars.

Snidely walked across town until he reached the subway station on the edge of town, “You’ve been on the train before, right?” He says, sliding his pass too unlock the turnstile.
