Windy sighs and puts her hands behind her head, “Well, thats a bummer… Y’know, Im just not gonna try to understand this anymore, thats just gonna be exhausting…”

“Alrighty! I know a guy who always gives me free stuff so I go away! I can probably get stuff for you too!” Leppu says, then excitedly runs to a grungy fast food joint in the corner of the cafeteria and leans over the counter with a massive grin. The clerk behind the counter sighs at his arrival. “Leppu… how many times do I have to tell you to leave me alone at work?” he asks with a sigh. Leppu reaches over and hugs the guy, “Hey that’s mean, you know you love me! So give me and my friends sodas??” The clerk looks behind Leppu at Lawrence and Barnaby, “Friends… so hes roped new people into his cult?” He says mostly to himself and hands over 3 sodas, which Leppu grabs and runs over to a table near a fountain in the cafeteria

“Yeah, I’m fine” Leppu puts on his usual grin, though it felt unusually forced. “Lets just go and get drinks, yeah?” He put up a thumbs up.

Leppu doesn’t get up from the floor “why does she have to be so mean…” He whimpers and wipes the blood off his face.

Leppu falls to the ground, his nose bleeding slightly from the punch, “Im sorry…” He says sadly in a pitiful way almost like a scolded child.

“O-ok… Th-then what should I call you?” Leppu asked, trembling slightly, obviously terrified.

“Um… but aren’t you actually the River Goddess though?” Leppu says timidly, still standing behind Barnaby, “P-please don’t kill me…”

“Oh…. ok that good!” He says, ever so slightly dejectedly, then hides behind Barnaby in preparation for a meeting with Skylar, “We need to go down this hallway, so Im going to use my cloaking ability’s to avoid an encounter with the River Goddess…” he says with a hushed voice, almost a whisper.

Leppu pats Barnaby on the shoulder, “Chill, buddy. I think shes like a bee, if we dont bother her she cant hurt us,” He looks back at Lawrence, “ohhh, I think I get it, sort of, not really, but it sounds cool! Your power is called Gravitoid!” He pauses for a second, “…Eh, thats not very cool… I’ll give it more thought later!”

“Yep, I think, its kinda like the electricity running through the ship that keeps us on the inside stationed, right?” He scratches the back of his head awkwardly, “I…didn’t really pay attention to school-HEY!” He jumps back against the wall in surprise when he sees a surge of water form and quickly vanish at the end of the hall, “i-it m-must be the river goddess.” He says, clinging to the wall, voice shaky with surprise.

“Oh, so its like a super secret between floaty people only then? Well, fine….” Leppu pouts a little and crosses his arms

“Hey dude, Ive been wondering, how do you float upside-down all the time without getting a headache? Like, I cant even do a handstand for ten minuets without passing out.” Leppu says, tilting his head to make eye contact with Lawrence.

Leppu grins back, “Hey, you’re happy again! I’m glad!” He grabbed Barnaby’s wrist and began walking, “Cuz when other people are happy, its really easy to be happy too! That’s why I smile, so everyone else can too! Especially you now, cuz you don’t look like you smile that much.” Leppu tilts his head to the side, “Not sure if that makes sense, but anyway, lets go get sodas! On me!”

“O-oh… I-I don’t know…” Leppu stutters, not knowing how to respond, he never knew what to say at times like this, he didn’t know if he should show sympathy or apologize or do nothing, he just silently patted Barnaby on the shoulder.

“well, if you’re sick, then why don’t you go to the hospital or something?” Leppu says, sitting up and breaking his word not to move, “they can cure, like, everything, right?”
