Vikkela curled up into her little hidey-hole and began to dream about chasing butterflies and big, slow mosquitoes until a big lunar moth with enormously colorful wings appeared. It flew fast! So fast that it was nearly impossible to catch. No matter how fast she beat her wings, it was always just three wing lengths away. The Yanma thrashed about in her sleep, all six legs twitching with frustration as her dream self reached out to try and snag the moth to no avail.

Thoughts on the RP Alternia timeline so far? I’m really curious as to what the prototypes will be because not all of the lusii have been revealed yet. Also, is it alright if we have a shipping chart on this chat? >:}

Kraken grinned at the obvious discomfort on the woman’s face. It would be only mildly inconvenient for him to hide his tentacles in his backpack, but why should he? The free intimidation factor which came from having tentacles was not to be underestimated. He barely had to do anything evil to scare helpless little civilians, just one glance at his electrified and now spikey tentacles and they knew he was a bad dude. Hell, even if he was one of those self proclaimed “heroes”, the civilians would probably still scream at his face.

“Thank you very much. I’d love to, Alba.” Kraken was well aware, she had only invited him to be polite. He just didn’t care. Sidling over towards Alba he found a comfortable spot to relax on. “So… see anything interesting while you were up here?” He paused for a moment before exclaiming, “Oh! Wait a second, I have some snacks.” The young man used his two upper tentacles to unzip and dig around in his backpack to find small “fun”-sized packs of various salted nuts. “You’re not allergic to nuts or anything, right?”

The Yanma turned to head back to the forest in order to continue patrolling her turf and to get more familiar with the nearby landmarks. She had just reached her tree hollow shelter when she saw a small purple rodent glance around cautiously on the trunk of the tree. A further inspection showed small tufts of fur, feathers and bits of wadded grass stuffed into her shelter. Unbelievable. The Rattata was building a nest in HER home! She could not let this insult stand. The Rattata noticed her approach, hearing the helicopter like cacophony of wing-beats heading his way. The rodent squeaked a warning which went ignored as the Yanma barreled into the Rattata with an angry glare.

This fight was significantly harder than the last one. Unlike the Pidgey, the Rattata was much more fierce and willing to fight back while Vikkela was still injured from her last fight. The rodent Pokemon was small, but gutsy and willing to give back every hit he took. Vikkela was surprised after one of her diving Tackle attacks to see the Rattata leap high into the air and slam into her. He was faster than the Pidgey, but even he could not keep up with the bug Pokémon for speed and having lost the one advantage the Rattata normally relied on, was eventually defeated. This time, Vikkela did not have the strength to forcibly relocate the fainted Pokémon and instead just shoved it out of the way of her nest. The rodent didn’t even have anything of value she could take as a spoil of victory. Wearily, she tossed all of the nesting junk out of her lair and then crawled inside to take a long, long rest.

(Speed = 7->11) Vikkela: HP: 12 -5 -5 = 2 HP
(Speed = 6) Rattata HP: 11 -5 -5 -5 = 0 HP

The last few exchanges of the battle were rough. The Pidgey, having given up hope of being able to fly away on battered wings began using the last of its might to tackle its attacker in retaliation for the unfair treatment.

Nonetheless, the Yanma continued its frenzied assault as each successful Tackle attack only served to heighten its excitement and speed. Finally, Vikkela hit the bird Pokemon in the head sending it flying to the ground. The Pidgey did not get up again. Once she noticed that the intruding Pokemon had fainted, Vikkela grasped the tiny bird with its six feet, took to the air and began to travel at a reduced pace away from her section of the forest. Finding an area with no immediate Pokemon or human presence, the Yanma dropped off the comatose Pidgey in the midst of a shrub. She didn’t want to kill the bird pokemon after all. Satisfied that the Pidgey had learned its “lesson” on intruding into her territory, Vikkela performed a brief loop of victory before heading back into her domain to rest.

(Speed = 14) Vikkela: HP: 7 remaining
(Speed = 6) Pidgey: HP: 0

The Pidgey let out a surprised and injured squawk as it got tackled seemingly out of nowhere. The naturally timid bird Pokemon immediately flapped its wings and took flight, soaring away from the angry bug Pokemon. Vikkela wasn’t having any of it, though. The angry Yanma kept up the chase, following behind the Pidgey with a vengeance. The bird didn’t even realize it was still being chased, since it couldn’t see directly behind it. Feeling a boost of energy due to a mixture of adrenaline and territorial anger, Vikkela surged ahead even faster and tackled into the bird Pokemon from behind, knocking it down to the ground before veering off to build up even more speed for another attack.

Once the Pidgey had recovered, it let out a reluctant Tackle attack to try and get the Yanma off its back. The bug Pokemon was hit, but the attack only fueled its anger, causing it to turn and ruthlessly Tackle the Pidgey into submission at ever increasing amounts of speed while the Pidgey tried in vain to take to the skies and flee.

(Speed = 11) Vikkela HP:7
(Speed = 6) Pidgey HP:2

Now feeling more refreshed, the Yanma began to fly farther away from the lake in search of a suitable woodland domain. After a thousand or so wingbeats, the dragonfly cane to an area dotted with a few trees here and there.

Vikkela then began flying about the forested area in a spiral search pattern looking for signs of any other Yanma. Strangely, there seemed to be relatively few Pokemon present. It certainly seemed quieter than her original hatching site.

Once she was satisfied that she was not intruding on another Yanma’s territory she began taking the liberty to fully search the area for a shelter and any notable landmarks. Alighting on the trunk of a tree, she began scratching away with her mandibles at a hollow, carving a large enough hole to rest in.

Just as she was planning to take a moment to rest in her new make-shift shelter, she heard the sound of rustling wings nearby. This was HER territory, her little hollow and nobody would take it from her. Roused into a state of territorial anger, Vikkela revved up her wings and took to the sky. The culprit was a Pidgey, innocently rummaging around for food. The bird Pokemon heard the sound of Vikkela’s angry wings hammering out a loud, speedy rhythm like an agitated helicopter. What the typically docile Pidgey was not prepared for was a sudden Tackle as Vikkela executed a high-speed fly by attack.

(Speed = 7) Vikkela HP: 12
(Speed = 6) Pidgey HP: 12 (-5) = 7 HP

The Yanma’s wings were still a little damp and took a few brisk flicks to fling the small water droplets off of the surface. Once they were suitable for flying, the Bug Pokemon quickly took to the air and rushed away from the lake searching for a suitable tract of woodland area to claim and defend as her own. She skimmed by the lake’s edge, investigating the lake-side foliage before taking off away from the large body of water where predatory Water Pokemon might lurk. The fear of being dragged down into the icy depths where her wings didn’t work was a nightmare she did not wish to relive.

During her flight, she noticed behind her a single butterfly up ahead resting on a flower. Without a wing-beat of hesitation, Vikkela dipped her wings upwards into a loop, gaining altitude before soaring downwards back towards the buttterfly. For a brief moment, she was flying upside-down and could see the butterfly notice her approach. The insect flapped its beautiful, colorful and utterly clumsy wings in an attempt to escape but to no avail. She easily snatched the insect out of the air with her six feet and munched on it happily.

Vikkela flitted about her plexiglass cage frantically for the umpteenth time in an attempt to escape, eventually settling for landing upside-down on the tinted roof of the cage as the box parachuted down towards the island. The dragonfly Pokemon tackled the walls of the cage, once she sensed the change in altitude but earned only a sore head. Forced to be patient, the Pokemon waited as the cage slowly approached the island and finally hit the ground, although not as roughly as would be expected from a crash-landing. Once again, the Yanma attempted to ram the cage open and failed. The Yanma’s wings drooped as she resigned herself to starving inside the small box. After a few minutes had passed, a faint clicking sound could be heard as the cage opened itself up.

Without waiting for an explanation, Vikkela revved up her wings and dashed out of the prison as quickly as possible, meeting head-first with a gush of cool water. Struggling and flailing about, the dragonfly flapped her wings quickly towards the glowing specks of light above the water. Just when she thought she was about to drown and become fodder for aquatic Pokemon, the bug surfaced. Vikkela promptly took in deep breaths of air from her exoskeletal pores before thrashing and paddling her way towards the nearest bit of land. Her 360 degree vision showed that she had been dropped at the edge of some sort of lake. Finally, the Bug Pokemon reached the edge of the lake and collapsed on the sandy shore, taking a moment to recover her energy and dry off her wings.

Kraken clawed and scrabbled his way up the side of the building with his tentacles until he reached the roof. Once there, he took a brief moment of respite to catch his breath and gain his bearings. Nothing incredibly dastardly appeared to be going on in Gotham City at the moment. The villain glanced around to look for the source of the electrical disturbance. It seemed to be changing shape, which was pretty confusing and didn’t make much sense to the electricity user. He frowned, as curious as ever before his eyes alit on what appeared to be another human standing on a rooftop. The villain paused for a moment trying to decide whether to make an effort to conceal his metallic tentacles or not. It would have been too much of a pain, so he just decide to let them be in order to move faster.

Moving at a brisk pace, Kraken maneuvered his way across the rooftops towards the woman with a toothy and slightly unnerving grin plastered on his face. “Hey there! My name’s Kraken, what’s yours?” He called out, trying to get her attention.

The male newcomer troll bowed in response to Skvaada’s wave and then wandered off. Once the interaction was over, the indigo blooded troll cautiously peeked across to see the highblood’s reaction to her sopor pie snatching. Since there was no immediate outcry or threats of subjugglation, Skvaada’ crept away and stowed the half-eaten sopor pie by the 3D printer to hopefully be out of the way. While there she began to captchalogue the TABLEWARE (1+1+3+1+1+4+1+1+1 = 14 % 10 = 4) Zembra printed out for her.

One of the forks slipped out of her ham-fisted grip onto the hive floor. Skvaada bent down to grab it when she noticed something strange through the glass floor of Zembra’s hive: the body of a female troll unconscious on the sea floor. From what Skvaada could see, the troll appeared to have finned ears which meant drowning wasn’t an issue of concern, but small colored particles of blood was wafting off of her into the surrounding water. Her eyes widened behind cracked black shades, and she paused for a moment to consider what to do before remembering that there was a water-breathing seadweller she could ask for help.

The slightly bulky troll made her way over to where Zembra was busy painting her nails with a haste that belied her calm expression face. “Zembra? There’s an unconscious seadweller near your hive. She may be injured but I …umn…am unable to retrieve her. Perhaps when your nails are dry, if it wouldn’t inconvenience you…”

Name: Chamil Ryne

Age: 27

Race: Bismollian

Appearance: Chamil for the most part, appears to be a normal female human. She is on the short side with 5 feet in height, and normally appears to be of average weight. She has black hair with a single sky-blue stripe dyed in, and dark colored skin. She tends to wear a simple blue button down shirt and a pair of dark jeans and sneakers. Her teeth are pearly white, perfectly straight and pointed.

Abilities:

Bismollian Physiology: Chamil can eat any substance in any amount at super-speed. She can consume an unlimited amount of liquid or solid matter.

Digestive Enzymes: Their power to eat hard objects, like steel, without having super-strength or invulnerability, stems from the Bismollian ability to produce a variety of digestive enzyme that act on specific substances, making them easier to chew and digest.

Content Analysis: Bismollian super-taste buds can instantly analyze the compositions of various foodstuffs and even detect substances which are poisonous to non-Bismollians.

Metabolism Induced Super-Speed: Bismollians can metabolize food almost instantaneously, and if needed, they can consume tons of food in minutes. Bismollians don’t normally possess super-speed but as soon as the digestion process begins, the matter consumed is immediately transformed into food energy by the Bismollian “stomach”. That energy fuels the person to move at a faster and faster rate of speed, as long as the energy supply keeps coming. When the person stops eating, the excess energy is collected and stored, in concentrated form, in cells very similar to human fat cells. Over the course of a couple of days, this stored energy is micro-diffused out of the body through pores in the skin…

Hero

Location: Metropolis

Note: Chamil is allergic to peanuts and has a low tolerance for spicy foods.
