Zach frowned, somewhat saddened by the pain that had just been experienced by Kate. However, with this small amount of sorrow he could feel his internal clock shift, and he laid a hand over Kate’s arm, letting a powerful cold slip out from his fingers and solidify the blood, stopping the wound from bleeding anymore. “try to watch out kate, you can still get hurt here, and when you die…” Zach frowned, glancing up at the sky again as his conscious felt heavy. “you die in real life too.” Zach stepped forward, pointing ahead. “the town should be just up over the crest of that hill. let’s go, guys.”
-
Zach smiled cheerfully, gesturing towards the paper that had been retrieved from Windy’s pockets. “same reason she’s brought that paper; items from the real world transfer over to the dream world.” He gestured with the wallet in his left hand while continuing to walk, his feet bounding on the damp grass. “it’s a good thing i passed out alone in my normal clothes at 3 in the morning like usual, otherwise we wouldn’t have any money!” Whistling to himself and chuckling slightly at his own joke, Zach continued to trod the path towards the town, where peace (and perhaps most importantly, food) was waiting for them.
-
Zach turned to face Callie. “what do you mean by ‘provide us?’ i’m certain i could help with whatever it is you’re asking though, after all we’re all friends here right, guys?” Seemingly instantaneously Zach had returned to his former, chipper self, and dropped the flirtatious attitude altogether, focusing on the task at hand. “now, into the woods. we’re gonna get up close to that big tree and i’ll explain some things to you guys. i think there’s a town nearby too. we can stop for lunch,” Zach flashed a wallet, grinning cheerfully at the group, “my treat.”
-
Zach smiled, happy to see everyone getting along. “your home? why don’t you come to my home?” Zach winked suggestively at Jasmine, looking briefly at the paper passed between Windy and Kate’s hands. “don’t worry about stuff in the real world though, time here is gonna function a little funky… but i’m getting ahead of ourselves. my name is zach!” Zach stuck out a hand for Jasmine to shake, while leaning in and whispering to her, “but you can call me… anytime.”
-
Zach, distracted from his proposal by a sudden scream from a distance away, turned to his side only to see a girl trip over a rock and falling to the ground. Reacting as quickly as he could, Zach ran to her side and extended his hands, catching her before she fell to the ground. Looking down into her eyes, he grinned and spoke softly to her. “hey there, beautiful.” Winking, he helped her back to her feet and asked for her name.
-
Zach smiled, walking over to Kate and Windy while motioning back to the others as if to say “come with me!” Turning his attention back to the two of them, he stopped Kate and began to speak, loudly enough so those behind could still hear but not so loud as to be a pain to the ears. “well, we may have just managed to go to sleep at the same time, or maybe…” Zach trailed off, lost in thought for a brief moment. “don’t worry about your cats though, though, this dream wont take but a half a day or so in the real world. but you aren’t gonna wake up until it’s time, that’s for certain.” Zach looked up at the cloudy sky for a moment, his eyes glimmering in the faint sunlight. “perhaps we are all here for some greater purpose, maybe an adventure! i think that would be quite fun. i’ve never been on an adventure, and you guys seem like a fine group of friends to do it with…” Zach put on his best convincing smile for the group, while silently pointing a finger behind his back to the ground at Kate’s feet, burning a message into the grass that said: “don’t try touching the tree, you’ll be impaled by guards faster than i can say ‘where’s the lightning girl'” Looking around at the group that stood before him, Zach continued to smile somewhat overzealously. “what’ll it be, guys?” Flames danced excitedly on Zach’s hands as he looked around at the group questioningly.
-
Zach glanced briefly at the golem, before returning his gaze to the group as a whole. “what, you mean you guys have never been here before?” Zach gestured a hand to the landscape. “i guess i should introduce ya then. this is the land of dreams!” Zach pointed to a large, sprawling tree, reaching up to the heavens in the distance. “that’s the tree of reality, that controls the real world, that over there is stoneburk mountains… you guys really have never been?” Zach shrugged. “anyway, the land of dreams is where you go when you sleep! anything can happen! like, watch this guys!” Zach smiled and waved his hands, his fingertips fluttering through the air as flames sprouted from his fingertips, burning away in the air. Catching them together into a single fireball, he held it up to his mouth and popped it inside. “mmm, spicy. pretty cool, huh guys?”
-
Zach skipped over cheerfully to the group, smiled and waved at Chris sitting on the ground. “hi guys!” Zach grinned at Kate and stuck out a hand. “nice to meet ya, i’m zach!” Looking confused for a brief moment, Zach stuck out his other hand, crossing over his arm as if to shake hands with Windy, who was standing next to Kate. “hi to you too!” his eyes fell over on the timid girl standing a few meters away, who seemed distraught, and gave her a smile while tilting his head. “and hi to you! i would give you a hand, but, you know…” he motioned with his head to the mess of proposed handshakes. “a guy only has so many hands, right?”

Secondary Rules: Magic!
Whether you decide to include magic into your character or not, magic in this RP is entirely based on your personality. Try to align your magic with your character (and your own) personalities, and make sure that they aren’t incredibly powerful. Combat will only play a secondary role in this RP, meaning that intense magic abilities like summoning demons and blowing up planets is entirely out of proportion. Instead, basic spells and magic like the ability to control elements would be present in this RP (albeit not to the degree of destroying mountains with a single earth-infused punch, more like summoning bulwarks of rocks and blasting them out at your foes). Good luck out there, and happy writing!

“Ah, the future is so often a troublesome thing…” Mars smiled. “I tend to stick away from divination, besides mana burn… Jabberwocky, is it? Quite a good one, quite a good one. What might be of your name, if you do not mind my asking?” As Mars said this, a small finger beckoned the book towards him, conjuring up a small ramp upon which the book slid directly into his arms. With a wave of his hand, the illusion was dispelled, and Mars returned his inquisitive gaze to Felix.
-
“Hmmm… Always the busy one Takra.” Mars chuckled slightly at his unintended hypocrisy, having been gone for quite some time due to interactions with a… Witch of sorts. “Well then,” he said with a grin, looking to the upper bookshelves. “What about… you! What’s your story?” he spoke, pointing to the top of the shelf before removing a book. “All kinds of wonderful stories contained in these fantasies…” he muttered to himself. “Wouldn’t you agree, friend?”
-
“Oh, please! Takra. You know me. Mars, you know, happy-go-lucky wizard? Black hole of destruction?” Mars flashed his best cheesy smile. ‘No way I got the coordinates wrong in the scroll… This is the right place, isn’t it?’ Mars thought to himself. ‘Of course it is, Takra is right here! He must be just yanking my chain. Classic Takra.’

Stumbling around as he woke up from a large and convenient coma, Cyrus stood, legs shaking, and attempted to walk. “Hello..?” he called out across the beach. “Is-is anyone there?”
-
A circle of black flames erupted from the ground, and a young teenager in black robes arose from a kneeling position, as if he were praying. Straightening out and stretching slightly, he stifled a yawn and conjured a small glass of water, taking a swig as he walked around. Entering a library, he smiled at a familiar face. “Takra! How long has it been, a year? Two?”
