Retrieving the hairpin from Kit, Mars simply places it in his bag and strides away before teleporting back to his house in the clouds, where he will work for the majority of the day.

Tired of Candy Crush, Mars sits down and plays Solitaire.
-
Mars stands in front of the teacher with a bored expression on his face, and takes out his phone and plays Candy Crush.

Seeing an opening, Mars throws the vegetable, and expertly guides it through the air with telekinetic magic. It lands with a splat on Aena’s shoulder, leaving small pieces of veggie on her body. Otherwise, she appears unscathed, if a bit confused.

Mars summons a small piece of squishy vegetable, and gets ready to fight.

Mars waited around the forest, unsure of what this challenge was to be. Unsure of how much longer he had to wait, he conjured up a beanbag chair and a pair of headphones, and watched TV on his phone. Noticing that the air around him was rather cold, he cast a small fireball to float in the air nearby and provide him with some warmth. “Ahh,” he said, “Nice and comfy. Almost as good as a cloud.”
-
Mars reaches into his bag and pulls out a piece of chalk, drawing on the ground. “I understand some of you have problems with the traceability of teleportation, so here’s a transportation portal with a magical anti-tracing counter-spell. Anyone who tries to locate magical residue from the portal… They’ll get a bit of a scare, I can see to that.”
-
“Believe me, it’s not easy Kit.” Mars replies. “And I do have a soul, just not my own.”
-
Deep inside his stolen soul, Mars feels a jerk. Someone spying on him. That was intense magic power… He glances around the room and sees a strange new arrival, a kid standing in the room. “Look pal.” he says to the kid. “Don’t look for a soul in those who have none.”
-
“Okay, alright, chill.” Mars said, shocked by the animosity. “What’s so wrong with a little magic? Teleportation never killed anybody. Err, not recently at least…”
-
“Aww, crap.” said Mars. With a snap of his finger, he teleported the table, chairs, and everyone nearby into the gym.
-
Waking up from a refreshing nap, Mars teleported back into the building. “I’m back guys!” he said to his friends. Pulling a scroll from his bag and reading it aloud, he summoned a fancy mahogany table and plenty of comfortable chairs sitting around it. Appearing in his hand was a deck of cards. “Who wants to play?” he said, sitting at the table.
-
“Well guys, I’m gonna take a 30 minute nap or so.” Mars says. “See yah.” He casts a spell and grows wings, and flies into the clouds to sleep.
-
“Just a phone. Let’s me talk to people and stuff. Right now I’m talking to Charlotte, she says she might be able to help.” Mars says to Kit. “It’s getting a little cold out, do you guys want to head inside? We could go to the library or something.”

“I don’t know, I wouldn’t think you would know these types of demons. They come from up North.” Mars says. “At least, I hope you don’t associate with them. They’re rather unpleasant.”
