Mars selects a book from his bag, opens it, and reads it aloud to teleport to school. He appears in a room, and looks around to find several gifted and talented students nearby. He glances frantically around towards each of them, and mutters a basic conjuration spell to make a black comfortable beanbag chair. He pulls a blank roll of parchment out of his bag, and begins levitating a quill to write on the scroll.

Back story: Remembers little of his childhood. Was raised on the streets and lived to learn on his own, leading to a rather untrusting personality and a tendency to hold grudges. Furthermore, before he entered this life, he was a cheerful warrior who went on an adventure with his friend, a blind girl named Willow, and one fateful day on their journey, they ran across a demon who was in search of a soul to stop a prophecy, and chose Willow. He sacrificed his soul to save Willow, but the demon still killed Willow in the end. Heartbroken, he attempted suicide, but due to his unique lack of a soul, he was simply reborn again. He has discovered that if he does not keep a soul, he will lose his feeling and destroy everything he loves. In order to keep the world together, he must steal the souls of others, however the souls are incompatible with his body and must be replaced after a time. He is constantly haunted by the people he has killed to stay alive, and is in a search of the demon that killed his friend and stole his life.
Goals: Gain more power, track down his soul.
Good or Evil: Good, but forced to kill to stop catastrophe.
