He looked to Virgil and merely nodded as he stared at the water. “He was going to slaughter the innocent for his own amusement I cannot stand idly by as he did so I made sure he couldn’t” Thinking on the part about expanding their training he took a breath and looked to him. “We do have that woman who snuck her way in here. She could be useful if we could get her to trust us is there anything we need to make for this?” he asked. Then looked out into the forest. “What is going on in there This island is uninhabited.” Taking a deep breath. He looked out to the ocean again. “So I have a purpose now?” he asked as if he needed one that he had just been existing for far to long. “ I have crafted everything in my families journal to master perfection.”

Dante walked the streets listening to the on goings of the town and soon found another of his targets but was meeting with what looked like a higher ranking member of the order he moved into earshot and slipped into a crowed and listened to the plot that was going on and sighed. Slipping into an ally he waited tell they walked by and he came out putting his hidden blade into the back of his target and turned ripping it out as a hammer came down crushing into the side of the man’s neck then down on his shoulder and he continued to spin and came down bringing the hidden blade down into the noble’s heart. He then quickly shifted back into the ally leaving the bodies to be found and wall jumped form building to building tell he was up on a roof and ducked into a pigeon coop and ducked low waiting as he listened to the guards search for a second then they left it be and he breathed evenly the reason for the blade was for the people to know who killed who and he came out of the coop once it got quite.

“Well he wasn’t on the list but he needed to die for even thinking such things.” He said as he ran the roofs and stopped looking through a grate on one seeing his last target he grinned and lifted the grate and dropped down bringing his foot into the man’s face then stabbed him in the chest and rolled off the bed and ran leaping out the open window and falling into a hay cart. Rolling out of it he slipped into the crowed tell he found a crew that would sail him near the island that was hard to get to and let him off on a long boat. He rowed back to shore and walked in leaving his hood up and walked in and out to the training grounds and saw the woman on the ground. “Hummm” he nudged her with his foot then walked on and traveled tell he found a man. “Where is the master?” he asked the man looked confused then put it together and pointed him towards him. Walking up to him he handed him the list. “All is done + a noble that was going to raise the taxes on the people and kill anyone who questioned the authority of the Templars…Who are these Templars?”

Dante’s long boat floated for what seemed like ever tell a ship came passing by as he waved his arm and he saw the sails get pulled to slow them as a rope was tossed out. He caught the rope and pulled himself and the boat up to the ship and climbed up and bargained passage as a wondering monk that had gotten lost at sea. They traveled to the destination that he had been sent to and told them to go with the grace of god and climbed out of the ship and into the city with a soft smile his head was bowed and he moved with purpose. His first target was easily spotted guarding the docks but he saw the man giving coins to a child and then saw him give a few more and told him to go take care of his mother and stood up. He wore the markings of the Templar but did not act like them as he had seen so many others. Making note of this as he moved through the city he watched the people and listened to the chatter as he hunted his pray. A man that had seen him once before caught a glimpse but when he turned to look Dante had seemingly disappeared into the crowed and was moving away sifting through the group of people quickly but not enough to disturb them and make it seem like he was swimming upstream.

Slipping out the other side he hopped a cart then pulled himself to the roof and started to walk along the roof top looking out over the city. He watched the people move and then started to run and leapt from building to building as he saw two of his targets assaulting an old woman telling her that she owed them money. Dante stood on the roof above them and pulled his hammers narrowing his eyes and leapt of the roof dive bombing the two as his hammers came crashing down on the two men’s heads and watched them crumple he then put his hammer away and pulled the coins and handed them to the old woman. “For your trouble Tell no one you saw me and take care.” The woman took the coins and nodded rushing off as quickly as she could. He drug the bodies into a dark ally and used the wrist blade inserting it into the back of their necks and left the men stacked to be found.

Looked to the woman and shook his head as he walked up the path and listened to his words and nodded it finally was sinking in. He took the blade fastened it to his wrist and then took his hammers and put them to his waist but he stopped and walked into that room staring at the chest then walked over and opened a secret door he had installed himself it took him months to get it working right and pulled out a set of brown robes and put them on the hood came down it made him look like a buff monk but a monk none the less and walked past him his hammer wasn’t even visible at this point in time. He took none of his men and took a small ship and sailed out on his own. He took and joined up with a passing ship acting like he was derelict to get passage to the city he was going to.

Dante looked to the blade as the man spoke he merely nodded and followed as he walked with him looking to the woman knowing he had no women on his crew she must have stowed away. Crossing his arms over his chest he stared at her for a moment or two then looked at the man that was now gone. He had his way of dealing with this but he didn’t this was not his game anymore. Things where changing and the assassins would rise again. Their enemy’s where numerous and it would be him and his assassins to stem the tide of their enemy’s from reaching the new world. He knew he couldn’t get them all but he would slow the income as best he could. His mind came back as he looked to the woman.

As they came into port the men started down into the stores to start bringing up the cargo and the provisions they had stolen form the new world. One heard a grunt and placed a finger to his lips and started to walk around their feet creaking the floor of the ship as they moved around looking for the stowaway. As the grunt came again they lifted the apples and moved them then jerked back the cloth and looked to the woman one of the men had a pistol pointed at her head. “Looks like we got a stowaway.” The other man said. “we need to take her to the captain after we have our fun.”

Hours passed as the fighting continued as crates where loaded two men set a crate of appels atop their old provisions as they were running out of space. They then rushed out and where already setting sail. As the wind pulled them out and soon the ship was heading out to sea heading towards a pirate controlled territory of water that the crown wouldn’t venture into at this junction. Once there they sailed out of it and headed back to their port of birth. As the men were working and Dante launched up the wall one last time and gave it all he had but this time he cleared several parts catching the stone grip and swung to the next scaling the wall and made it up in just over half an hour and breathed sweat pouring from him as he saw the text and blinked thinking and he sat down up there thinking on it letting the first part of the creed sink in trying to understand it. He figured this was the true test learning to understand the creed itself and what it meant.

The men made it back to the ship wreck and quickly collected the cargo once it was loaded one mentioned that maybe they should collect provisions. Another mentioned that they were pirates lets raid the port. They flew the black flag and set sail for port as the docked the men came out firing pistols and causing a ruckus. While others where sneaking onto the cargo ships taking what they needed but only what they needed nothing more. It was one of the captain’s rules. Several guards came rushing in and a fight started with them right in the docks.

Dante watched and then nodded and the men just looked scared and where frozen as Dante grabbed the two hammers that had hung on his belt and moved with grace and elegance one man took a hammer to the heart and dropped his heart having exploded in his chest as another took a hammer to the skull and crumpled. He ducked low and brought one up into the man’s ribcage as the other came down on his throat while the hammer that had taken the man’s ribcage smashed up into a man’s nose sending it into his brain letting him drop. Tell a man went to spill the rum and got his hand crushed and then his neck broken as the same hammer came up into his jaw sending his head back hard enough to break his neck and drop him the rest ran for the ship and set sail to retrieve Virgil’s cargo. He took the hammers and put them back with the large Warhammer. Walking back outside he stretched then started to scale the wall again it didn’t matter he hurt or he was worn out he had to keep going he had to work hard and prove himself.

He looked to him and nodded and walked in he took off his hammers and dropped them he had not even earned the right to wield a weapon yet so he would not he took off his shirt and he was fit like any blacksmith. He then looked to his men and shook his head. “Either you train or you go retrieve the masters cargo chose now. When I come back in here if your choice is not made I will be sure to make it for you all.” He then turned and walked out and looked up the cliff face and took a breath and took and ran up the wall grabbing the first board and launching himself past the second barely catching the third. And pulled himself up he didn’t stop his momentum though and shifted himself up it and launched over to a beam and swung on it launching to the wall and bounced off it catching the 8 th board and pulled himself up running up the wall and missed the grip stone and fell back towards the ground catching the beam on his way down and swung bringing himself back up starting his assent once more. The men stood and drew their weapons. “And who are you to make the captain give such orders your just some guy with a knife.” Said one man who had obviously had to much to drink and was using the mob mentality to rally the men against him. Soon he feel and landed on his feet coated in sweat his muscles had given out and he walked back in and looked to his men and looked to Virgil. “Master may I wield my hammers for a moment?” He asked standing behind him weak tired and pouring with sweat. Dante didn’t show his weakness to the men just stood there ready to fight save actually having a weapon.

Dante had wondered into a room that the men seemed to keep a 10 foot distance from and in sat a trunk with a lock that was odd and seemed to have no key at least none that any man could think of. He stared at it for a while and turned to the man and spoke. “It’s this way.” He said leaving the assassin’s trunk in the room it had no door but people died who touched it. The men knew this He walked him through the caverns and soon they came out and there where cliff faces ledges beams out cropping’s an assassin’s playground the perfect training ground. If you couldn’t make it you died it was that simple. He leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. “You will have to teach me to open that trunk one day. My father never went anywhere without it.” He said simply then pushed off the wall and took off in a run and hit the wall about halfway up and launched up grabbing an out cropping and pulling himself up in a fluid motion that didn’t stop his momentum he was slow but he was fluid and was moving through this coarse with ease then dropped down in front of him from the ledge above where they came out.

Dante listened to him and blinked at it when Virgil came back in he rolled his sleeve up and showed a birth mark. It matched the symbol on the back of his fathers journal. “My father said that journal has been in our family for longer than the sea has had water.” He then rolled his sleeve down and grabbed the journal and slipped it into his shirt walking out as he spoke and smirked. He was still captain of this ship but he knew something greater in this world awaited and he got to the helm and spun the wheel hard pulling them out of the wake of the storm and they were heading towards the sun now. “We will need a safe place to train I know just the place.” He said and the crew looked at the navigation and started to cheer not realizing that their privet home was going to become something far worse than it was. He took the ship into a set of coral and navigated it slowly. “Just a few more hours. We have a doctor there who can tend to our guest.” Turning to his men he spoke clearly with a deep voice that was quite but carried itself. “Anyone touches her. You will have to answer to our guest here and I will let him do what he feels is nessicary.” The men stopped cheering and looked to Virgil They then quickly hurried about their duties on the ship. He then turned back to the wheel and continued to guide the ship expertly through a path that would of sunk other ships.

Dante shot his head up looking to the man. He narrowed his eyes and slammed the book shut and the seal of Altier was on the back. “I know nothing of assassin’s This was my father’s book he was a blacksmith and I a black smith like him.” He stopped for a moment and looked to him. “Wait you snuck up on me like my father used to…” his mind was racing the realization finally setting into the young mans eyes. “Wait If you know about assassin’s….” he didn’t finish that statement incase his men where listening. He didn’t know much about them accept that they didn’t kill for sport and always for a cause.

Dante looked at his crew and stepped to the helm and they set out to sea sailing around less dangerous paths in fact he was following after the storm that put the man and woman on the shore. Humming softly a book poked out of his shirt some as he kept that held close as they moved through the sea. “So tell me what’s your story its going to take a day or two so might as well learn who I have on bored.” The crew seemed weary of him and people started to whisper things about him saying he tried to murder the woman that he was worse than them because he was a child killer. Dante ignored his men but still kept as best a watch on him as he could. Once they were being pulled along in the wake of the storm he let go of the wheel and headed into his cabin and pulled out the book that was in his shirt and started to look over them. This stuff was so advanced he understood it but it was amazing. He had been trying to memorize the patterns for years but still had yet to do so.
